| Biography: | I didn't join a bagpipe band for the same reasons as many of the others in the band. I actually got started because my father plays the bagpipes and it was a way for me to spend more time with him since he was/is working so much delivering babies. However, I began to like playing much more than I ever thought possible and it's the reason that I continue to play even though my parents live in New Mexico and I've moved to California to continue playing. I married Wil Heitritter, who is a piper in the band, in 2005. I am back for the 2009 season fresh from completing my teaching credential (High School Biology and Chemistry) and has a beautiful son who keeps me running. |
