Objective

The objective of the Los Angeles Scottish Pipe Band (subsequently referred to as the band) is to field a pipe and drum band which is competitive at a world-class level, and through regular competition and performances to further the education and enjoyment of traditional Scottish music in Southern California.

To achieve this objective, the band will maintain an established organizational structure, and schedule appearances through the consensus of the members. The band shall operate exclusively as a non-profit organization, according to the appropriate sections of the Federal Internal Revenue Code.
